This trip starts from lodges, hotels and campsites in Victoria Falls, Kasane or Livingstone, and delivers two nights and three days inside Chobe National Park. The river cruise and game drive are the two headline experiences here — the chance to get up close with fantastic birdlife, hippo and crocodile from the water, and elephant and Cape buffalo as they come down to the river to drink. It’s the shortest way to experience Chobe properly, on a budget camping basis.

Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day1

Transfer & Full Day Chobe Safari

Pickup from Victoria Falls or Livingstone at 7:30am, where your guide meets you at Kazungula for immigration formalities and a safety briefing (Kasane-based guests are collected directly from their hotel). At 9:00am you board the boat for a 3-hour cruise into Chobe National Park, followed by a buffet lunch at Chobe Mowana Hotel and a 3-hour afternoon game drive finishing around 1800hrs. You’re dropped at Kwalape Safari Lodge for the night.

Day2

Chobe Day Reversed

A 5:45am pickup and a 15-minute drive to the Chobe National Park gate for an early morning game drive — the best time to find big cats and wild dogs, still active at this hour. You’re back at Kwalape Safari Lodge for breakfast at 9:45am, then free to relax at camp until a buffet lunch at Mowana Safari Lodge, where you’re collected for the 3pm cruise. It’s a 3-hour cruise with an African sunset and elephants swimming across the channel.

Breakfast & Checkout

After breakfast, pack up and leave camp between 8:00 and 10:00am for the drop-off at your respective hotel in Kasane, Kazungula, Victoria Falls or Livingstone. End of tour.
