Known locally as the “Flight of Angels,” a helicopter flight is the single best way to grasp the true scale of Victoria Falls — the mile-wide curtain of water, the zig-zagging Batoka Gorge and the Zambezi River stretching to the horizon.

Overview
No ground-level view can capture Victoria Falls the way a helicopter can. From the air, the full 1.7km curtain of the Falls comes into view at once, along with the dramatic zig-zag gorges the Zambezi has carved below it — a perspective that photographs and videos from the ground simply can’t replicate.
Two flight lengths are available: a 12–13 minute flight covering the Falls and gorges directly, or a 25 minute flight that extends further along the river and over Zambezi National Park for a longer look at the wider landscape and its wildlife.
What To Expect
Arrive at the helipad, get weighed in for seat allocation, and receive a short safety briefing before boarding.
Lift off and bank over the Falls, the Batoka Gorge and the Zambezi River — window seats give every passenger an unobstructed view, with the pilot circling the key vantage points.
Touch back down at the helipad — the whole experience, door to door, takes about an hour including check-in.
