Walk with a habituated elephant herd near Victoria Falls, watch a handler-guided elephant art demonstration, and settle in for lunch under the trees — a fuller half-day version of our Elephant Encounter for travelers who want more time with the herd and a proper meal built into the day.

Overview
The Elephant Art Safari builds on our standard Elephant Encounter with two extra elements: a light-hearted, closely supervised art demonstration where select elephants use a trunk-held brush to make marks on canvas, and a proper lunch or snack stop as part of the day. It’s the better choice if you want unhurried time with the herd rather than a quick two-hour visit.
As with all our elephant experiences, there is no riding involved. The art demonstration is trained through positive reinforcement only and supervised throughout by the elephants’ own handlers, who narrate the process and each individual elephant’s story as they work.
What To Expect
Meet your handlers, receive a briefing, and spend time walking alongside the elephant herd as they forage through the bush.
Watch (and photograph) select elephants create brush-stroke artwork on canvas under their handler’s guidance, with the option to take a finished piece home.
Relax with a lunch or snack stop on-site before your transfer back to Victoria Falls, with time to ask handlers more about the herd’s rescue and conservation stories.
