Overview

Experience Overview

The Home Hosted Lunch is a smaller, more personal cousin of our Village Tour — instead of walking through a wider community, you’re welcomed straight into one family’s home for a proper sit-down meal. It’s a simple, warm experience built around good food and honest conversation rather than a packed itinerary.

Your hosts cook the meal much as they would for their own family, using local ingredients and traditional methods, and are happy to talk about daily life, food and Zimbabwean culture over the table. It works well as a relaxed midday break between other activities, or combined with the Village Tour for a fuller cultural day.
